BBC News reports that a recent survey of 500 families by the charity Ambitious about Autism found that 1 in four children have been subjected to “informal” exclusions by their school.
Many parents were reported to have been regularly asked to pick their children up early or to keep them at home because the school was unable or unwilling to provide the support that the child needed.
